Keep your frame nice when running wide tires

If you own a Forbidden Druid or a Dreadnought V2 and run 29” wheels, you’ll know the tire clearance is on the tight side. Especially on fire roads, small rocks can get picked up by the tread and slammed into the seatstay bridge as the wheel spins. In muddy conditions, that same tight gap can quickly fill up. Both can lead to chipped or eroded paint, and in extreme cases even carbon damage.

That’s exactly where the Seatstay Chip Protector comes in. It won’t increase tire clearance - in fact, it reduces it by about 1.5 mm - but it’s a simple and effective way to protect the frame and keep it looking fresh, even after hard use.

Please note: This is a sacrificial part that will see a lot of wear. Can break while protecting your frame.
