Ever since I got into mountain biking, I’ve been obsessed with the details. The kind most people overlook - the 5% that turn a good build into a real dream build.

I’ve always been a tinkerer - curious to try new materials and manufacturing methods to create the parts I wanted. With limited space and tools, most of it happens right here in my small flat in Basel, Switzerland (yes, the kitchen is the workshop). But none of the ideas come from just staring at bikes. They start on the trail. I ride every day - that’s where the real needs show up, and the real solutions begin.

In 2023, I started sharing custom projects on the Finesse Components Instagram account. What began as a personal playground quickly gained traction - turns out, other riders shared the same obsession with fine details, faced the same problems, and saw the value in the parts I was creating.

That’s how the brand was born. Still small. Still personal. Still chasing that extra 5%.
